主題「蓬萊」源自總策劃奚韜看見當代畫家趙剛的作品《黑橋風景》後，以「蓬萊」形容其對作品的感覺，陳粒透過音樂呈現出虛擬飄忽之感。「在」字由陳粒增加，「蓬萊」是美妙的世外仙境，它無法到達，我們卻「在此」，這種矛盾就像蛇環一樣，其實充斥著我們的日常。

"The producer described the experience of hearing Chen Li's live performance, in response to the painting "View from Black Bridge" by Chinese contemporary artist Zhao Gang, as akin to "Peng Lai," a legendary place of immortals. Chen Li's music conveyed a sense of ethereal transcendence. Both Chen Li and the producer see it as a mystical and unreachable fairyland, yet simultaneously present in the present moment. This creates a contradiction similar to the Ouroboros, an infinite cycle of daily life."
