Cypress Bayou and Shorty's

Background/Challenge

To promote two casinos in one location, Cypress Bayou and Shortys, a new branding stragety needed to be created. One casino, Cypress Bayou, is known for its good food and friendly atmospher. The second, Shorty's, is a more rowdy and fun casino known for its nightlife.

Creative Solution

Using an custom ambigram typface both casino names become one, just like the physical buiidings the names represent. Because playing cards also work like ambigrams having no top or bottom the personality of each casino is personified using illustrated face cards.
