Designing a building in which members of a poverty stricken community will feel comfortable enough to receive medical attention emphasized a process in which user input became a vital contribution. Revitalization of an existing building allows for an unintrusive addition of a wellness center into a well established community.
Located at the intersection of N. 4th street and E. 7th avenue, the corner site is ideal for awareness and access of the building. Public passerby are welcome to the cafe while private patients can utilize a side entrance.
