About Alelo
Alelo is one of the most qualified service providers in the area of Benefits Management in Brazil, with a broad portfolio that includes: benefit cards for companies of all sizes; management services of Vale-Transporte (transportation stipend); and different types of pre-paid cards for individuals.
Project Context
Alelo was born in late 2011 as the new name of Visa Vale cards, acquired by Elo Holding. It started out already having more than 70.000 corporate clients and 5.4 million cardholders. Changing the name and expanding the business demanded a plan to review all communication channels (institutional site, e-commerce, mobile app, and so on). New products emerged and others were merged, which forced us to review all the content and architecture of the previous site.
My Participation
Multiple teams participated in the project. I was involved in:
• Assessing customer and business needs;
• Defining the new information architecture;
• Validating design concepts with customers;
• Reviewing the new interfaces and identifying potential usability issues.
Main deliverables were:
• Needs Assessment
• User Task Analysis
• Sitemap
• Wireframes
• Design Specifications
• Usability Reports
Results
Follow are some examples of the final user interface (2012~2013 version). Today Alelo continues to improve their communication channels and have more than 5 million active users.
