What do you give your 85 year old Grandfather on his birthday? He have everything he needs, and everything else we might get him he wont use cause he don't need it. Buy a "something" and he will put it away because he wont use it before the old thing is broken, and he has repaired the old thing thrice and it was bought in 1976.
I ended up printing the two portraits I took of him and my grandmother last year. What about a typographical card?, I though. I started with his name, Otto, wrote it with grand motions to get some energy to the writing (the man is still able to run and jump around). Then I added three of his many "rolls", Morfar, Farfar and far. Mother's father (what he is to my cousins), Father's father (what he is to me), and father (what he is to my father and aunt). And of course his age.
