To begin my painting, I always like to do a rough sketch underneath in a light 4H pencil. I usually don’t like to work on just one area, so I begin to fill in the entire picture with loose patches of watercolor. As they dry I begin to build layer upon layer of watercolor to create my masterpiece. After putting down my paint, I used gouache paint, colored pencils and ink to make the cacti have more contrast. What do you guys think of it!? :D
