A basic feature of seating furniture is that comfortable seating is a clear goal. In some cases it overwrites  anatomical requirements. I designed an experimental chair that does not aim at comfort but draws the user's attention to this everyday, self-evident attitude.
When designing the shape, I wanted to emphasize the suspension that we can experience while using seating furniture. To do this, I chose a vibrant, almost penstroke-like waveform.
The metal frame was given (old chair frame made by the Italian company, Calligaris), the chair's seating surface consists of three layers: at the bottom and top a polifoam layer with two bent plywoods inbetween as a frame. The seat was fixed with screw connections. In the case of the backrest beside this is where the metal incisions meet with the back and is locked when the person is seated.
