Flamengo FC is one of the most celebrated soccer teams in Brazil, with the country's most significant fan base of almost 40 million fans. What's just as impressive is that Flamengo's midfielder, Diego Ribas, recently discovered a passion for web design. Naturally, his creative vision doesn't stray too far from his day job, as he's on a mission to redesign the world in his team's colors: red and black.
This is the story behind the campaign we launched for the Brazilian market earlier this year. As part of the campaign we even released a chrome extension that applies a black and red colored filter onto any website. Try it out, it's fun: Red & black extension
Our marketing designers went really far with the story and even created a red and black themed website for our star, offering his services as a designer rather than a soccer player. Who knew that red and black could look so elegant together.
