MEMORIES IN THE WATER
I wanted to capture a moment of air bubbles trapped in the water. To make this moment eternal, like freezing water into ice. The choice for the use of glass was inspired by the water itself. The necklace is assembled of eight glass pieces of the same dimensions. This piece was realized in May 2017. I received the student award at the Venice Design Week 2017 competition and the necklace was exhibited there in October 2017.
