GTM Professional
Product Photography Field Guide

Problem

GTM Professional frequently did not have enough quality photographs from our satellite offices in Costa Rica and China. This meant when creating catalogs and other advertising material with photos, they often had to substitute photos taken in Europe for photos taken in the end user's environment. This subtracted value, as the end user wanted to know how the machines worked with the kinds of trees and materials in their environments, such as coffee banana trees in Latin America or dried branch piles in China and also see end users that they could relate to.

Solution

GTM Professional needed a pocket sized guide for wood chipper photography for amateur photographers. The guide had to be strong enough to stand up to a day in the field around flying wood chips, while compact enough to go anywhere.

With this guide, the versatility of the photos GTM Professional received was drastically increased. When they previously frequently received almost entirely centered cropped shots, now the larger variety of compositions and shots enabled GTM Professional to specialize their catalogs to be region specific.
