Tim Aminov, very talented electronic music artist and producer, asked me to explore and visualise artwork for his upcoming releases. One of them was his new EP “Orpheus”.
Those explorations were based on the mythological background of death of Orpheus, ancient Greek musician and poet who was ripped into shreds by Maenads, female worshipers of Dionysus. What happens if you abstract the idea of death of Orpheus down to a single word and visualise suffering he went through using typography as the medium? This is where it can get you.
