Raya is a Lebanese-Venezuelan paper artist based in Barcelona. After studying architecture, she decided 2008 to focus on what she does best: Paper Art and Design. Her work is very influenced by her strong background in architecture, her love of nature and it’s intricate patterns. She has been featured in: Feel Desain, Design Collector, Design Plus, Étapes, Journal Du Design, My Modern Met, Vice – The Creators Project, Creative Boom, Colossal, Make: Magazine, Art People, Mental Floss, Lufthansa Magazine, Instagram Feature and Fubiz. An identity that reinforce the value of paper as an essential part or Raya’s work.
