Modern duplex house in Vilnius it is multi-residential complex for developing company. Development company requested compact affordable modern duplex house for a regular family fulfilling its basic needs of space and representing modern Scandinavian style of architecture. Land plot is oriented adjacent to street which is on the south side of the area and passing property from west to east. Geometry of the plot maintain simple and clean rectangular shape. Which allows us to split and align cottages symmetrically. Plan structure split in 2 part which contains front part extrude minimalist boxes for carports, and house on the north side with backyard in the middle. Architecture arranged in this way allowed us to maintain backyard from street noise covered by carport, and also keep this yard and house oriented to the south.
Modern duplex house design came out of developer brief – as solution for people, who are looking for a sustainable and affordable option. 140 sq.m. satisfies all basic needs for a effective living space. Living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms with built-in-robes, ensuites, storage, cabinet were planned effectively.
