Nova Character Creator Game
This game was made for my Visual Design for Games class, the assignment was to create an adventure game and we worked for nearly a month.
For this adventure game I wanted to make something that is more outside the box than just a classic point & click with an inventory type game. You play by using a program called Nova Character Creator, and when exploring the buttons and settings you find that the character that is available is actually alive, and she's in trouble!
You communicate with Nova via a chatting function that is on the right side of the program. You help Nova to clean up the inside of her program, which has been gunked up with weird blobs ever since you downloaded it. Nova also has some customizable color options!
The program you are playing in exists on a fake desktop with some moveable icons and a taskbar that shows the real date and year.
Nova's world within the character creator program has three environments that all center around her house. You can explore the path leading up to her house, her front yard, and finally the inside of her house.
