Enchanted Wall - A Fairy Slot

Enchanted Wall is a fairy themed slot inspired by the beautiful botanical garden in the Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas.

My first task was to find a style that would fit the theme, our app and the market, while still standing out.

After some research of the existing games on the market and other related media I made two "mocks" representing two different visual styles I saw fit for the game (using reference images by other artist):

The left one was chosen, and so the style was set on a realistic anime-ish style, with some Victorian design elements.

*I also used the image as my color palette guide for the game, and it came in pretty handy.

I began with character design for our main Fairy character, always keeping in mind how she will look as a small in-game symbol -

...and now to some color

This was a "proof of concept" of a sort, and it went well =)

Since the gameplay and other symbols were still undecided upon, I moved to designing the game cabinet -

Our goal is to create a feeling close to real casino for players, therefore the aim is to create cabinets that would look like a cool plastic machine with lights and maybe some movement - a design that while being themed and interesting, can still be imagined in a physical form. Following that logic the left cabinet was chosen, and I prepared some references for the 3D artist to work with.

These guys were the first ones I made, and this here is their place to shine, since they ended up being so tiny in the game T_T

Then it was decided to add animal symbols as High paying symbols, create big symbols for all the high and special symbols, and I ended up using the flower as a bonus symbol -
