Body language | Branding

Learning Anatomy is notoriously hard but crucial if you go in to medicine. University curriculums are often confusing and it does not help that Latin is prevalent in naming anatomical parts.

Body Language is an app for medical students and healthcare professionals that explains the history of a word to help with associative learning. For example "podo" means foot in Latin so anatomical parts shaped like a foot often contain the word "podo" such as "podocytes" which is a type of cell.

It was key that the app felt easy to use and gamification was a core goal from the start. Instead of creating highly detailed drawings that simulate text books, the brand focuses on creating a simple and friendly experience for the user. With this in mind, bold and minimalistic patterns were created inspired by anatomy.
