Building is located in Gdańsk, 500m from Technical University campus and 200m from nearest student dorms. It's surrounded by Tricity Landscape Park - nature protected area.

Main purpose for that small self-sufficient university unit is to teach about alternative energy to public school students and to provide professional knowledge among private sector interested in producing green energy. This facility is design to educate about all renewable energy sources, but specially about biomass and biofuel developed from high energetic and fast growing plants.

Main functions - LABorathory, EXPosition, EDUcational - all can support each other, but also can be used separately, by different users. Building consisted big lecture room for 150 listeners, 3 small lecture rooms for 20 students each, 1 computer lab, medium size laboratory with back-up facilities, 300m² indoor exposition area and it's all surrounded by over 10000m² outdoor garden space.
