After taking a picture of my father’s pro le, I retraced it on Rhino. I was inspired by the sculpture of Renato Bertelli entitled “The head of Mussolini”.

The digital sculpture was real size so by taking the measurements, I was able to work the wood on the lathe. It was then sanded and varnished.
