Chile  - Perú - Bolivia
Altiplanico, raises up during my crossing in March 2015 around countries like Chile, Peru, and Bolivia, absolutely by land, with different targets, personal and family targets as well. Many of this moments reflect the absolute and purest emotions of this exceptional idiosyncrasy, beyond boundaries, colors, and agreements, it is my way to translate the beauty of this special corner of the world where a culture with a very special lifestyle reached to live and a very comfortable harmony. Since my way up from Arequipa to Cusco, to see pose the stunning Chungará on my way back to Arica. I hallucinated to see how these people feel, believe and live.
60 days of a spectacular odyssey, like I always try, make the most of my available time to plan and program everything and absorb as much as I can during my path, that’s why I try to cover most of the highlights of this area, like climbing Machupicchu from the Inca Road, to visit the Uros Islands on the Titi Kaka lake, the death road at Yungas in La Paz and the amazing experience to share with the rainbow people in Che Guevara's lands, Samaipata.
I'm glad to introduce to you my very first project on my way out to the world as a photographer, Altiplanico, a selection of pictures of a very humble and simple way to travel, full of adventures and stories, done by land, traveling by bus overnight to save in accommodation, sleeping on tends and dorms, with extensive waiting hours on terminals with poor food. Choosing the most challenging ways to go the highest point, and witness the most beautiful and inspirational landscapes.

Welcome to crudolffi photography,
Im glad to introduce, altiplano,

Enjoy...

Bienvenido a crudolffi fotografías.

Is in this point of my trip, where I decided to make something special and different, I rent a bike and I went downhill through Yunga road, most known as the Dead Road, an old road where trucks, locals buses, and particulars cars use to take their own way to Coroico. You can witness a lot of videos on youtube where many of these unfortunate drivers have to deal with falls of their vehicles on hey attempt of crossing this road. Nowadays this road its available only for bikers and hikers because of its danger. Anyways a small van was escorting us on our way to the final destination. I  rode my bike around 4 to 5 hours off road, challenging high cliffs and beautiful waterfalls, where you can experience the four season ride (as well known too). During my trip downhill I was able to feel 4 different climates; first: the coolest and windiest winter in the high lands of Bolivia...
Mountains of the Dead Road
... second: the confortable and climatized browns of the Autum,...
through the wonderlust of the butterflys in spring
Until the humidity and freshness of the summer...
Los Yungas, Coroico, and the Dead road at least for me, i'ts a must in your passage through Bolivia. Granted...
Portraits of easter celebration in La Paz.

Thanks for watching
