The Vertical Maze (Labirinto Vertical in Portuguese) was a project made during my first year in product design degree. The brief for this project was to create a wooden toy for children between 3 and 8 years old. The main idea for this project was the creation of something that would help the children to develop some kind of mental capabilities, and then i decided to create a toy to improve the memory while having some fun.
The Vertical Maze is played with a small ball that passes through a path that is craved in each wood block and the objective is to make it exit on the lowest block. Preferably this game should be played with 2 or more children but it can be used by a single player.
