TreeMug

The TreeMug project was made in college for a competition created by Vista Alegre, a Portuguese ceramic company with 194 years of history known by the quality of their porcelain products. The briefing delivered to us was simple and straightforward, the creation of an iconic mug that could be produced and that would represent the brand.
After a brainstorm session and some quick sketching, I've ended up with the concept for the TreeMug, a commemorative mug with the intention to be sold to those who celebrate one more decade of life. As is happens to the trees where you can find its age by counting the number of rings on it, the Treemug have one silver ring that would represent 10 years of life, or one decade.
