365 Days Of Drawing - Part 2

I want to get better with my art. Withas many art media as I have at my disposal. That's why I started a small self-challenge.
To draw at least 15 minutes a day, even if it's to be a small doodle. Any subject, as long as it brings some value - can be a new technique, new media, improvement work, etc.

This was not the most quantity-oriented month. Rather, I focused od highly stylized, original art.

43. 2018-03-03 - a friend challenged me to draw him a Jesus. I took this as an opportunity to have a go at the hair technique I wanted to try.
44. 2018-03-09 - this time, going with a more Zen idea - I wanted to try something very symmetrical and the no lineart dotwork thing. Had fun.
45. 2018-03-11 - (March calligraphy at the top) another go at blending the watercolor markers. And let's face it, I had to have a go at calligraphy image at least once. Maybe I'll make one for each month.
46. 2018-03-13 - feeling the spirit of Easter slowly peeking around the corner, I felt like a fluffy chicken would be a good idea. What would be a better idea? HIPSTER BABT CHICKEN. I really like this one.
47. 2018-03-15 - (the photo without the number) I had this sketch. And I wanted to watecolor it. Because she's in the water. Get it? Eyyyy
48. 2018-03-17 - To be honest, I don't feel comfortable with watercolors. But I liked the sketch and decided to give it a proper lineart. Planning to come back to it with some photoshop magic in the near future.
49. 2018-03-19 - I love this one. This is my approach to the traditional swallow tattoo motif.
50. 2018-03-22 - there is this artist on Instagram, Anna Przybyłek, and I love her style sooooo much - I wanted to try it and loved it... up until I blotched the tail irreversibly.
51. 2018-03-23 - Another go at Anna Przybyłek's style, this time with a hint of color. and huge discovery! I FOUND USE FOR THE CRAPPY MARKER PAPER! Soooo - did you know that you can blend Promarkers in a watercolor way if the paper is really, really bad? Well, now you do.
52. 2018-03-24 - ran out of ideas. Hit Pinterest. Found a feather in similar style. Tried it with a leaf. Added color. Went to sleep happy.
April (works 53-60)
53. 2018-04-02 - a blotched attempt at working dotwork into marker color blending. the flower itself is nice enough, taught me a lot about sequence of marker coloring.
54. 2018-04-06 - this took three attempts. Each tiangle is a different layer - lineart, color and the squigly 'shading'.
55. 2018-04-11 - this is where mu current crisis began. I was doodling aimlessly for days and the Oinx (don't even ask where the idea came from!) was the only thing that was remotely showable.
56. 2018-04-18 - a RPG character I doodled during a session.
57-59. 2018-04-21 - for a few days, I was fiddling with icons for my website.
60. 2018-04-23 - a friend challenged me with drawing a totem. Never drew totems before and it took waaaay too much time. still, shading with markers and a new art style. yay!

The rest of the month is my biggest failure - I lost heart for drawing completely. My personal life got so complicated for a while, I broke my five-month streak and didn't draw for days. So there goes that daily art challenge. I guess I COULD say that I've been writing this whole time and it's art, too. But I feel like that would be cheating.
May (works 61-63)
I won't even pretend I did anything interesting in May. The challenge was a bust, I mostly just doodle on and off these days.

61. The sax playing lizard is a testament of how bizarre an RPG session can go.
62. It was Mermay, yo. So here's the Mermaid of the Deep. The live drawing is creepy as hell.
63. My brother got his own portrait, after two years of empty promises.
