The Nelson-Atkins Gallery of Art reveals visitor interactions through Gallery+ iPad app
Appreciation for art can deepen with a greater understanding of context. Located on benches in the newly-reinstalled Bloch Impressionist gallery, Gallery+ iPads reveal the interactions among art, artists, society, and history. Visitors can access a timeline of events, artists’ biographies, and engaging activities. 40Digits brought this interactive experience to life through an iOS app.
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art aimed to showcase a priceless, new donation of Impressionist paintings - and they chose 40Digits to assist. We created a new iPad iOS app from the ground up, utilizing carefully constructed interaction design and a highly integrated technology system. The result was a stunning interaction between visitors, art, and technology.
