PART OF
THE PROCESS
[ BOOK ]

PART OF THE PROCESS is a provocation for who still think we can live without thinking the planet, our impact on it and possible future scenarios.
This project is also a quest for more attention in visual communication to what surround us, and a request to involve in daily practice also themes that are complicated, risky and helps to create what is called “The Contemporary Condition”.

Talking -and showing- the contemporary is talking about the obvious, the absurd, the nonsensical, the smupid (stupid+smart, Douglas Coupland) and all the situations we deal usually in our routine, without even think that they can be critical point from whose prospective we can see reality as it is.

Together a series of videos, and a book made in collaboration with the photographer Mathieu Cartthe project deals with the difficult theme of representing how is changing the relationship between man and time today.
Is already obvious that we are speeding up in our lives and what was the old way of identity formation is totally changed, replaced with a digital endless youth.

PART OF THE PROCESS, made by four chapters and in a structure that plays with time structures and reading time, talks about multiple points of view on contemporaneity, suggesting to the reader anything more than takes his/her own time to stop for a moment, to think about this endless present we live in.
