This is reflected in the compass lines and angles which are shown on the covers. The opening spread for science fiction writer, Anthony Burgess, reflects his dark and eccentric nature through imagery, space and texture. The opening spread for the architect, Hashim Sarkis, gives you a preview of one of his buildings, showing the angles and modularity of the design. The texture and spaced text reflects the chaotic conditions in Tyre. The opening spread for the state of the planet article lists current global environmental issues. The environmental chaos is reflected through the changing scale, while the elements are represented through the color palette and textures. The spread on science and religion focuses on the divide between the two realms of thought and resulting confusion.
