A little over one year ago I was commissioned by Richard Cleveland and David Stroud of Dick & Dave to produce illustrations for the new KitKat packaging and promotion they had been working on.

The project required idealised realistic illustrations of the KitKat fingers incorporating a new KitKat branding into the chocolate surface. The new fingers did not exist at this time and so had to be created using my own photographic reference of the original product and from line artwork of the new branding designed by Dick & Dave.

Working in Adobe Photoshop with a Wacom tablet and pen, I rendered the KitKat fingers using various textured brushes I have generated over many years of illustrating chocolate products.

The deadline was tight, as is usual on these projects, but quality was never compromised and the final illustrations were delivered on time and received very well by the client.
