Client: Dagger Editing
Who They Are: A new freelance copy editor specializing in résumés, cover letters, and academic papers.
Project: Create a logo and business card to represent their new business.
Project Goals: Client requested Courier New be incorporated since that is the go-to typeface for copyeditors, and that a very sharp fountain pen be incorporated into the logo.

“Emily is a talented designer who listens to what you want out of a project. She takes the time to engage with your input while offering her own as well. It is apparent through her work that she enjoys what she does. I’m very happy with the results and would recommend Ravenworks Studios to anyone who wants high quality and personable work.”

For the Dagger Editing logo, the client and I chose to incorporate the pen into the "A" and let the sharp tip lead the eye to the next line. With the business cards we opted to keep them simple and one-sided with the colors being primarily black and white with hints of red (to mimic black ink on white paper with red mark-up).
