Who They Are: An established dental group in Monterey, CA specializing in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Project: Create a logo and branding to fit their new online presence
Project Challenges:
- Client had worked with several designers prior to me but hadn't been able to get a design they were satisfied with.
- Logo needed to include the full dental practice name for legal reasons.
- Colors and general text layout were provided by the client.
- Client did not want teeth in the logo.

The client wanted their branding to be elegant and classic while also being warm and inclusive. The "MDC" emblem used on the business card and letterhead was from a previous designer they had worked with. They liked the emblem and wanted it included in their branding, but did not feel it worked as their primary mark.
