The GRAIN Case iPhone case will be initially offered in two different species of sustainably harvested exotic hardwoods, specifically picked for both esthetic qualities and for their ability to hold high tolerance during manufacturing.
Each wood case will be milled on a computer controlled CNC machine holding highly precise tolerances of plus/minus 0.002 inches and hand finished.
Ergonomic design & Style: Ease of use taken into account by contouring to the hand and allowing easy access to all buttons and screen gestures; incorporating professional and clean looking product lines
Case Locking Mechanism: High tempered spring steel and aerospace grade aluminum. The spring clip receptacle allow secure closure around phone. This allows GRAIN Case to not rely on friction fit, which results in loose fitting cases or cracking due to the inherent shrinking/swelling qualities and characteristics of wood
Soft thin felt material used as the interface between the wood case and the iPhone glass
Camera, sleep button, headphone jack, volume rocker, and power cord openings all follow Apple’s recommended guidelines
