I had been dreaming for so long about creating a book cover for a personalised recipe book. Yes, I had lot's of such "notebooks" where I used to write my favorite recipies, but they all looked dull and uninspiring. I always wanted to have a recipe book with an inspiring quote and bright images, so that's how the idea was born.

I started with finding a great quote and drawing some guidelines with a pencil. Then I drew words with my favourite thick black marker. I like the look which the marker words have after vectorising. They are not just like font, but like a drawn-personally-for-you book cover.

I also drew some seasoning, like lemon, chili pepper and so on. I add colour inside the shapes when I vectorise the image in Inkscape. The contours of seasoning are drawn with my Pigma Micron liner.

The design can also be used as a wall art for kitchen. Looks cool to my mind, isn't it?
