The competition began at February 17th 12:00 noon and ended at February 18th 12:00 noon.

Objective: contest participants were proposed to design a fire watch tower and to reflect on a broader fire prevention strategy in 24 hours. Participants had to consider the possibility of replicating the tower so that could disseminate by the forest. Towers had to be a part of an overall strategy and they had to see each other.
Solution: several stages of fire threat and protective measures were identified with structures and technologies for forest fire prevention and control.

Concept:
There are four primary elements which are the basis of the world. Each of these elements is in a delicate balance with the others and is harmonized by their influence. Any natural disaster is a clear manifestation of imbalance. It is necessary to resort to the help of the other three pillars of nature in order to restore the balance of one of the basic elements. In this project, fire is presented as an unbalanced element, so the power and energy of earth, water and air are called upon to restore the equilibrium.
Conceptually, the project of balancing the fire is divided into three levels:
1. Water is used as a proactive part of the fight against fire.
2. Air plays two main roles in the scenario of events:
a) as an information guide between all the components of a clever system to prevent a firestorm,
b) It provides a vantage point high above the fire to precipitate the water from.
3. Earth, being the main obstacle to fire, is also the place for people to shelter from the raging element.
Scientists' and foresters' station is an alternative function of the tower.
