Back in 2016, I've participated in a mass festive postcard exchange among the designers and illustrators across the causeway.
I've opted for a more hand-drawn approach in the subject to recreate the vintage label look, and painted it digitally so that it won't coming off as too dated (We were about to celebrate new year at that point after al!).
It is mildly influenced by Norman Rockwell's composition, which I hadn't realised until a friend pointed that out later on.

Here's a partial video progress of the painting being worked on, not before it being cut off unceremoniously as the laptop started protesting by making loud whirring noises.
Here's the final product, which I've printed out in A5 size postcard and have them delivered to the recipients assigned to me. Aside from that, I've made a couple connections with the people who've sent in their postcards as well.
10/10 great experience, would do postcard exchange again. :)
