Light entertainment project. The brief was to design a set for the National Television Awards, this was to include an entrance, stage, green room and suitable seating plan for a large audience. LED screens were an important factor to integrate into the design.
My project was inspired by contrasting colours and shapes. In particular, from the flowers in Ukrainian headdresses and the art work of Richard Tuttle. The atmosphere that I desired from my design was highly dependant on the colours of the different elements. For this reason, I chose to make my final model in colour rather than the traditional white card model used for tv & film sets.
