This is an illustration I did for the second edition of The Cultural Diversity Forum in Bucharest that took place on the 3-5 November 2017.
This is an illustration I did for the second edition of The Cultural Diversity Forum in Bucharest that took place on the 3-5 November 2017.
There are 20 different minorities living in Romania and that was the starting point for this illustration. Each outline of a human face combines folkloric symbols and ornamentations from two different cultures.
The entire illustration was hand made using watercolors.

I also did a workshop for Syrian refugees and Romanian children during the Cultural Diversity Forum event in Bucharest. They each drawn or painted an outline in shape of a human face and the end result consisted in ten collective works symbolising the union between cultures.
