One of my research interests is using Flow Theory as a framework for planning K-12 learning experiences. In order to explain Flow Theory to my peers and students, I have often had to draw a crude illustration of the above graphic for them, or search for an image of flow theory online. The online charts are all pretty bland and boring, and most look like they were created in Microsoft Word. Therefore, when I began blogging about my work with Flow Theory, I decided it was time to create my own graphic. That is how this graphic was born.
