Hug the Wall
As part of a duo exhibition, this show questions the white cube gallery aesthetic, as this work is meant to be touched and interacted with. It also comments on women's work throughout history, noting their absence in the exhibition setting and giving them a voice. We purchased no fabric, instead using old clothes and reusing fabric we already had as a comment on the high production quantity of fabric and the waste that it leads to.
