This project was about packaging.
Curtis packaging held a competition to design a packaging design for a luxury gift set. I went with a chocolate collection box that is themed around culture. The luxury characteristic in the designs is the use of gold foiling for the "taste of" type on the bars.
My chocolate bar designs are based on the cultures of the top countries that produce the most cocoa beans in the world, Brazil, Mexico and Indonesia. I have gone with the theme of wildlife and iconic structures that resembles the countries culture. The tropical plants are featured on each bar design because tropical plants are found in the hot countries and the Mexico, Brazil and Indonesia are all hot countries that have tropical, vibrant and interesting pants. One of my main goals was to make the chocolate bars fit as collection and look like they are in the same family. This is why i have used a warm and muted colours in every illustration, so they look like they are part of a collection.
