Visual identity and packaging design for Breadberry
Bread from overseas.
Breadberry is an export oriented brand owned by the largest bread producer in Baltic countries – Vilniaus Duona. They approached us with a task to create an exceptional visual identity for a special bread flavored with grains and seeds.
Lithuania is famous for its traditional bread, but we’re not big on exporting it. So we came up with the idea of a brand story about distinctive rye-bread from overseas where old baking traditions are still cherished and a peculiar character – Bird The Baker who gathers only the very best grains for Breadberry.
Based on this legend we created bright packaging design. Bird the Baker centres himself at the magical world decorated it with elements of seeds, grains. As a result our packaging design opened up the doors for negotiations with supermarkets and made it easier for the product to find its way to the shelves of shopping malls across USA and UK.
