Bug Seamless Pattern

My original pattern was of simple bugs that I created using Adobe Illustrator. I chose a color palette that I thought would work for the idea I am working with. I thought the brighter colors would pop from the background which would keep one's eye wondering around the entire piece. 

I included a black and white work- in- progress view so that I can show my process a little further before adding color. This is like my refined sketch.

Here, I included color and a view of what my pattern would look like tiled out. I added more bugs to try and make it more seamless. I used the mud as an overlay so that it would not be as dark as the original tile.

These are just the different objects separate so that one can see how I came up with my illustrations.
