UAB Sleep Study Ad
Background:

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) was conducting a study on the effects of sleep on overall health and wanted to promote the study through a landing page and social media advertising.

Objectives:

To increase awareness about the UAB Sleep Study and encourage participants to sign up
To create a visually appealing and cohesive campaign across the landing page and social media platforms

Strategy:

To create a visually appealing and cohesive campaign, the artwork for the ad campaign was designed with an aquatint gradient to represent the hazy feeling of waking up in the morning. The artwork was then scaled to work with the landing page and social media advertising.

A Facebook ad and landing page were created to promote the study, and the completed Illustrator file was sent to a UAB motion graphic illustrator to create a motion graphic piece for Snapchat.

Results:

The ad campaign was successful in increasing awareness about the UAB Sleep Study and encouraging participation. The visually appealing artwork and cohesive campaign across all platforms helped to capture the attention of potential participants and drive traffic to the landing page. The motion graphic piece for Snapchat was particularly successful in engaging a younger audience.
