Activity 1: Looking Back!
Questions
1. What were some of your favorite games growing up?
(No video games or board games)
2. Pick two of those games and explain what the objective of the was.
3. What made the games in question #2 so much fun to play? (three reasons)
4. Give an example of a game that you didn't like playing and why?

Answers
1. In my childhood, school was fun because we had recess. In recess, me and my friends would play a bunch of games. Some of my favorite games would be man hunt, four square, football, and basketball.
2. The objective of man hunt is if your the hunter, you will have to find everyone else and tag all of them. If you tag 1 person, they join the hunter's team. Man hunt will be done if everyone who are playing are all tagged. The objective of basketball is to have a team, and your team has to beat the other team by scoring.
3. Man hunt was fun by how much running and hiding required for this game. Basketball was fun because it had a lot of concentration and it was intense trying to beat the other team.
4. I didn't really liked playing was tether ball because it only requires 2 players and its not fun waiting in line just to wait for your turn.

Activity 2: Lets Play Some Games!

You will play 3 different board games and 3 different cards games.  After playing each game, you will answer the following questions.
1) When you were playing this game, how would it make you feel?
2) What was the thing you like the most of this game?
3) What was the thing you didn't like about the game?
4) What does a player need to win this game and why?
5) If you had the chance, how would you change the game?
6) If you were to give this game a score out of 10, how would you rate it and why?
(36 Marks)

Jenga
1) When I was playing Jenga, I felt very confident because I knew that I wouldn't make the Jenga tower fall.

2)The thing I like most about Jenga is the amount of concentration of trying not to make the tower fall.

3) The thing I didn't like about Jenga is when I almost made the tower fall.

4) If someone is playing Jenga, A player needs a lot of concentration and confidence because the player needs to concentrate to pull out each block and confidence to not make the tower fall down.

5) If I had a chance to change Jenga, it would be to change the amount of blocks because if Jenga had more blocks, the tower would be more higher and it would be more intense to not make the tower fall.

6) I rate Jenga 10/10 because it is very fun to play with.

Battleship
1) When I was playing Battleship, I felt very stressful

2) What I like about this game is the concept of it. The concept is to destroy the others battleship which is pretty fun.

3) What I didn't like about this game is it is very stressful to find the other players battleships.

4) A player needs knowledge and common sense for this game because they need to think about where the other players battleships are.

5) If I had a chance to change Battleship, I would add more battleships so the game can be a bit longer.

6) I would rate Battleship a solid 8/10 because it is pretty fun but it is also stressful cause you can't find the other players battleship.
Go fish
1) When I played Go fish, I felt pretty happy.
2) What I like about Go fish is how the player needs to find the same card from their deck to make a pair.
3) What I don't like about Go fish is when my oppenent says they don't have the same card that I called out and I have to take 1 extra card.
4) A player needs have the most pairs then the other players.
5) I wouldn't really change anything about the game because its perfect just the way it is.
6) I would rate Go Fish 10/10!

Barn Yard
1) When I first played Barn Yard, I felt stressful
2) What I like about Barn Yard is the concept of it. The concept of it is if you and another player placed down the same card, and screaming out the sound of the other players animal so they can get the cards.
3) What I don't like about Barn Yard is the frustration of forgetting the other players animal.
4) A player needs to lose all of his/her cards to win.
5) If I had a chance to change the game, I wouldn't to be honest because the game is perfect just the way it is.
6) I would rate this game 10/10 by the intesity and frustration the game could be which is pretty fun.
Scrabble
1) When I first played scrabble, I felt bored.
2) What I like about the game is the point system.
3) What I don't like about the game is about how every player has to think of the words.
4) A player needs to have the most words and points to win.
5) If I had the chance to change the game, is every player must have atleast 10 letters to make it easier to think of a word.
6) If I had to rate Scrabble, I would rate it 6/10 because It's sometimes fun but mostly boring.

5 Second Rule
1) When I was playing 5 Second Rule, I felt very focused and I had fun.
2) What I like about the game is the concept of it, which is trying to answer the question in 5 seconds.
3) The thing I dont like about the game is some of the questions because some of the questions can be about random actors.
4) A player needs to have the most cards to win this game.
5) If I had to change the game, It would be to change some of the questions because some of the questions are based on random actors and random adult based questions.
6) If I had to rate 5 Second Rule, I would rate it 10/10 because it is really fun to play with. I highkey recommend playing this game!
Activity 3: REFLECTION
I really enjoyed the 5 Second Rule board game. It has a lot of originality about how the game works. The game provides a new experience by thinking fast about answering the 5 second question from the card. The game is not really predictable because a player doesn't even know what the question in the card is. A player does have a equal chance of winning depending on their knowledge of answering the questions and it kind of has a "snowball effect". The game kind of has a "King Maker Effect" depending on how you know the person and how much they know. The game also allows players to play till the end. The game also doesn't really have a theme to it. The game contains strategy. The strategy is knowledge.

I really enjoyed Jenga. Jenga has a lot of originality of building towers and trying not to make it fall down. The game provides a new experience by having steady hands and lots of concentration. The game is kind of predictable depending on how the player makes the tower move. A player does have a equal chance of winning and it has a "snow ball effect". The game does not have a "King Maker Effect". The game also allows players to play till the end. The game also doesn't have a theme. The strategy to win this game is to have steady hands, common sense, and lots of concentration.
