Pitch your short animation story using an 8 point beat board.
• develop a minimum of 3 minor beats per major beat
• Generate final story into story-points format
• Use technical terminology in pitch
Component 2 – Storyboard:
Due Date: January 11
Create a visual storyboard based on your story-points
• 3-5 boards per beat
• Include Title and Credit frames
• Include colour coding under each board (connecting to desired audience emotional response)
Component 3 – Quick gesture & Shape CHARACTER Concept Art:
Due Date: January 11
Create quick concept drawings for at least the two main characters, four assets/objects and the animation setting, DOP (including graphic assets.)• Create a character study sheet for each character demonstrating action. Start with Line of Action (3 axis).
Create character lineup using shape language.
Portfolio Posting:
