On my way to the Vatican through Rome, I came across this street art. Petrus Romanus refers to to the prophecy, the next pope (following Benedict XVI) is to be the final pontiff, Petrus Romanus or Peter the Roman.
My ticket into the Vatican. Security checks rival that of the airports. Don't take a lot with you and go early so that you can get through security faster.

Every inch of The Church was beautifully decorated and tells a story.
The Vatican is MASSIVE and it's also beautiful. The light streaming into the church reminded me of something you might have seen from the Lord of the Rings movies.
A souvenir I picked up. I guess you could say that I got to see the pope.
