7-ELEVEN customer experience research

7-Eleven Customer Journey Research and Concepts
I was recruited to help out with a fire at Bottlerocket. Their client was 7-Eleven and they were looking to improve their customer experience in store. This was a great project, we had full freedom to research and find the right problems to solve. We landed on a few concepts that are shown below.
Order Pick up Mobile App
Ordering your items from the 7-ELEVEN app and pick them up at the store. No more waiting in line.
Food Truck Ordering Mobile App
A food truck that travels between a few 7 Eleven locations and a mobile app that allows you to see exactly where the truck is going to be and order from their inventory.

Hot Grill Tablet App ( In-Store)
No More waiting in line to get your food. You can now walk up to the hot grill, select the item you want and the quantity. Pay for it and you're done. No more waiting for the store clerk to finish what they are doing to get you food.

Customer Journey Research
Hands down the most creative, fun and revealing user research testing I have ever been involved with. We came up with the idea to use a sort of board game method to find out exactly how customers in-store experience has an effect on their buying decisions. This study was interesting because it sparked some side conversation amongst our participants about their previous experiences in store. We gave them each card before starting asking them about certain situations in 7-Eleven and to write down their thoughts.
Customer Journey Video
Customer journey video created to show our client the amount of friction that each customer encounters during their in-store experience.
