Background
Theproject involved redesigning a mobile wallet for a travel product. Datarevealed that the existing wallet design was very non functional and there wereseveral consumer queries related to balance check, wallet usage and moneywithdrawal.
Context
The objectiveswere to improve user experience when a user manages his wallet account and toreduce customer escalations related to its usage by making account summary easyto interpret.
Design Solution
The following design enhancements were made:
UI consistency and upgrade: MyWallet design had to be made in conjunction with the restof the app. Also, the design had to made responsive.
Differentiatingcredit and debit entries: A clear distinction between credit and debit entries was established.
Bonus money:In the current version, the split between real amount and bonusamount wasn't clear, it had to be made very evident.
Overview tab:The overview tab would highlight if any bonus amount is getting expired innext ‘n’ number of days.
Withdraw or reverse amount: Customer should be able to withdraw money from hisMyWallet account.
