Burger Wellington

This was my second year designing for Visa Wellington on a Plate for Sojourn Cafe & Bar. The Chef created a Mexican themed burger the ‘CCC Mexi Tower’. From this, I was inspired by the vibrant colours in the burger and the promise of spice to create a logo for the burger. Edgy and zingy vibes are portrayed through the lightning bolts exploding around a Mexican style font. This burger is fun, exciting and vivid, all elements that I really wanted to portray through the design.

My goal for the Dine Wellington set menu was quite different from the burger. I needed the design to be formal and elegant to reflect the delicacy of the menu. With a lot of information to portray in the poster regarding the menu and pricing, I choose to keep the design simple and clean but still have a strong connection to VWOAP - which I have done through the use of circles to mimic the festivals logo.
