Students Gone Global was a website I mocked-up and designed in the winter of 2011. The founders approached me and said that they needed a redesign of their current site. I used tools like Hotgloo and Photoshop to wireframe and mockup the new site redesign.
It was a vast departure from their old site, as I was exploring the concept of a "pinboard-layout", inspired by Pinterest. It seemed well-suited for the client, as they requested that their content be user-driven and image-based.
Though the development and actual coding of the site was passed off to another vendor, I had the privilege of establishing the design baseline for this travel-centric startup.
