TNT REBRANDING
LOGO EXPLORATION
I was commissioned by Loica Studios (Santiago, Chile) to help create the new Logo for TNT, which is an American basic cable and satellite television channel owned by the Turner Broadcasting System, a division of Time Warner. I was lucky to work with a team of 3 other talented designers including @raul-burgos, @Fiorinox & @claudioorlando at the time.
I would like to note that we worked together for this part of the process and it took a while to come up with so many variations and new approaches in contrast to a traditional and solid logo designed to last for ages. I would dare to say that it took us maybe a month or two to get as many options that we could come up with. At that point i stopped working in-house and went back to the world of Freelancing.
Months go by and I get news feed about the recent re-branding of the channel (full with debate and critique towards the new logo) What do you know? There was a studio that took over called @TBIK. I saw the full re branding and i thought it was genius, they took our approach with the logo and got it to look quite gorgeous. I'm uploading just a couple of slides that show exploration and ideas for the foundation of the new logo.
