Wine label design project for a small independent vine located in Pirque, Metropolitan Region of Santiago.

The label had to make direct reference to the centuries-old wine tradition of the area, and had to appeal to a middle-class, conservative audience.

Due to budget constraints, no color or fancy printing processes could be used, as the labels would be printed in plain black and white. In the end, red was allowed, but only limited to text.

The concept was to replicate an old scroll, with the name of the winery written in a font resembling quill script.

The formal drawing of a grape bunch was added for visual impact, and to emphasize the traditional character of the product.
