Mike magazine is a new music and lifestyle magazine. The magazine will feature current music and popular trends. The magazines content will be primarily based on the West Coast lifestyle. The magazines mood will be urban alternative. The urban alternative mood will appeal to a younger more rebellious market. Focus will be placed heavily on imagery and bold colour. The magazine covers will be a mix of portraits as well as lifestyle shots, this will be both photography and alternate art styles. The magazine will have a clean fluid look making use of overlapping shapes and images. Heavy margins will bring focus to the visual aspect of the magazine.
